   When Showtime acquired the Australian psychological drama Wakefield, we wanted to reimagine it for an American audience while staying true to its core themes, balance between sanity and madness. To emphasize this, we used an overhead shot of the lead in the bathtub to create a sense of unease and tension. We kept the symbolic use of butterflies and a similar color palette, ensuring continuity with the Australian creative while reinforcing the show’s psychological depth.
